Being Happy

When we were young, we felt the only thing we needed was to eat and grow.
Then it increased to knowing how to read. Then to understanding how to read a clock's time,
Then, to how to just pass it each examination and progress to the next class.

All I am saying is, we were born to see that life needed simple intentional steps.
And the goal was to gain Satisfaction and to be happy.
We just needed to only take those steps to be happy, fulfilledand Satisfied.
Do we still remember to be happy now?

The struggles of life have still not stopped from way back, as afore explained.
Rather, it has been increasing.
It has so progressed so much that we achieve our objectives without those simple sense of satisfaction and Joy that we used to have from the beginning.

Most of us have gone as far in life as bear burdens we do not even know we even carry;
From planning ahead the Meal Plan, to planning what to wear, plans for the day, Job outcomes, future of spouses, children, families, friends and Boss, etc..
Usually, the only time reality sets in, is only we fall sick.
Only then, do we come to the realization that we matter too,
That our joy, mental health and satisfaction counts!
But for most of us, it gets too late to correct these;
And to some, it is easily forgotten and back to Status quo when we get well.

I am not saying not to be responsible,
I am saying or rather, I am screaming you care for, think of and love yourself too.
The reason we often are hard on others is often because we are harder on ourselves.
And the reason we seem unforgiven to others is often because, we do not forgive ourselves; but, we still make it seem like it is others we don't forgive.

(shush.. from me to you)
The Burden on you is way too heavy that even God refused to place it on you.
But, you have chosen to place it on yourself out of over necessity.
Listen; let go, let God and let life.
Live to be RESPONSIBLY Satisfied, or say, Contented.
Be happy and not to be INTENTIONALLY Sad.
Be Happy and Satisfied in your efforts dearest!

  1. "The reason we often are hard on others is often because we're harder on ourselves..."Lets cut ourselves some slack. It was a wonderful read and a good reminder to be intentional about living a happy and fulfilled life.
