Why Human Right and an Opened Society
WHAT IS AN OPENED SOCIETY? Open Society was described by Henry Bergson as a society that accepts and embraces all humanity. Karl Popper, further developing the idea adds that an Opened society is internally Democratic in nature, where Citizens are free to constantly and critically question or rethink accepted truths. This clearly leads us to Human rights. WHAT IS HUMAN RIGHTS? HRs are the birthrights of humans by being humans and thus is inherent in all humans as inalienable rights, to be protected within and beyond the state. WHAT ARE THE LINKS BETWEEN HUMAN RIGHTS AND OPEN SOCIETY? The link between Opened society and the HR is that, -They both upholds the rights of the human being to be free and protected within the state and Globally.
