GENERAL VIEW
General view is synonymous with survey; overall picture; overall view; general picture.
What does it mean to have a general view?
Marriam Webster dictionary, defines general view as general opinion or an overall view.
On this note, It is known of how easy it is for us to box people, life and situations as if there will never change. We expect so much within a particular area that they can't move beyond that boundary to us.
Most cases, we hold on to memories where people have failed or made mistakes and we limit or box them to that mistake and failure, forgetting they is something called growth, development and change. We feel they should act that we because we feel they should through their mustajws or situations
When we see things, mistakes and situations with a general view we leave room for growth and improvements.
Here is a better way to explain my point.
So in introducing myself, I spoke of an organisation (in the course of this work, i will refer to it as a person, because it is a legal entity recognised by the law of Nigeria as an Artificial person).
In the course of introducing myself, I talked about this particular organisation and my relationship with her. I so much analysed my personal opinion of her mistakes that one would wonder if she ever did anything good. Thinking about it, it is rather wrong.
Talk is cheap and anyone can afford it. But then, how many persons can afford to judge things with the general view that leaves room for growth and development?
Did I even have that standi to even judge her?
A better way to have commented on that organisation would have been through a general view. Something like:
" we all make mistakes, and I feel this organisation is not left behind on it. Still, comparing their mistakes with their success, their successes outweighs the mistakes. More so, as this organisation grows, improving and managing her personal, I believer she will stand among great organisations.
It is biased to be one sided and should not be encouraged at all.
