Self Exteem
Self Esteem is confidence in one's own worth; self-respect.
Many times, people see and value themselves, by the standards and worth people attach to them or how they think or feel people take them.
This has led to so many depressions. This because, most times, we are unkind to ourselves and presume wrongly what others think of us.
And sometimes, others are unkind to value us for whom we trully are. Yet, would you blame them for seeing what is not yet materialized?
You are you. The only one Apart from God, to see you for you.
And One thing is sure, we ought to have Confidence in our own worth; self-respect, and live for us; because one maybe great to others, but it is self achievement, that will make life worth living.
In one of Jay Shetty's video, Some girls were asked about their self esteem, and it showed how much they live below positive self confidence.
To me, I found out one important thing that takes away toxicity from me.
It is the living Word.
Each time I feel not enough, the word of God would scream to me (in my mind); look in the mirror.
Whom you see, is the one for whom
He came, died and rose for...
He gave up all, because you are enough!
Worth every Pain and every love!!
Each time I feel like I am not worth anything Good, neither can I achieve anything Good.
These words clears me;
We are his workmanship, created in
Jesus unto every good work,
You are an elect, planned for before the earth was created.
Remember! the God that created all things, lives in you!!
(Myself then..)
Ethel, you owe me so much,
You cannot afford to fail me.
I am you, and I have to be satisfied that I am fully who I am and want to be.
Not what others think of me,
I have my own purpose...and I have God.
So, we move!
With these, you will see me walking like Matchette and smiling like I have it all.
Yes, I so have it all!
Author's note:
Be proud of whom you are and live positively for yourself first!
