Kids Should be Kids

In the course of being one of the kids Summer coding/programming instructor at the Akwa Ibom State e- Library, IBB Way Uyo in August 2021;
We had kids who their parents felt would always perform less than expected and those who parents think should or would always act a certain way. But the irony of it all is that, they are a lot different from their parent's narrative.
(I know that elders in already leading and knowing life, try to guide their Wards in ways they feel could help their future. But the truth is, kids should be kids. They should be groomed properly with love and patience and not in haste)
Therefore, instructors (at the e -Library then) tried as much as possible to give the kids a leveled ground to walk on.
The result was amazing!
It turned out that these kids felt alive!
They felt like their dreams and expressions were supported enough for them to express them as Their own Rights.
It hurts so much that parents expect so much from their kids that they forget they are still kids and thus need more love, encouragement, support and patience.
